3G 3.1.3 gps problem

Hello,
Half year ago I bought a Iphone 3G from a friend, it came with 3.1.2 unlocked fw (probably blacksn0w) and the gps as I remember worked.
I have upgraded it to 3.1.3 (bb 5.12.01) and now the gps wont work
I have tried everything:

3.1.3 + redsnow
3.1.3 + redsnow + pushfix
3.1.3 + redsnow + push doctor
3.1.2 + blackra1n
3.1.2 + redsnow
3.1.2 + redsnow + push doctor
4.2.1 + sn0wbreeze
4.2.1 + sn0wbreeze + push doctor

tied to reset network settings, killal locationd an clear the locationd cache

everytihng worked well, wifi, notifications, youtube, but the gps won't work...

I think it's a gps chip or baseband problem

Maybe I can resolve upgrading the bb to 5.13.04 and then hacktivate and unlock?

Sounds like a hardware failure. Not surprising because it is an older device and it is bound to happen.

Upgrading your baseband will probably not help anything but you could try. I just have a strong feeling it is a hardware failure.

As a last resort all I can tell you is to try a clean restore, set the phone up as new, and try GPS without jailbreaking.

Every time I tryed a clean restore, but I must jb the device because I do not have the original carrier sim so I need to hacktivate the phone to access the gps
I possible to replace the gps chip or clean it?

I don't know much about the hardware parts. All I can tell you is it sounds like it's broken. Ask moderator Cowboy if you've got the chance.
