do I need to restore aka wipeout everything to update to 4.3.X

I just want to know if I can just upgrade from 4.1 without losing all my stuff. if I do need to I backed up all my songs. I ran iTunes backup so I think my photos are safe. but I'm worry about my cydia packages how can I back those up as well the repos.

Aptbackup or pkgbackup. Obviously the latter which is a paid app is more reliable but if you prefer to use something free then aptbackup is what you want.

Aptbackup can be buggy though, just use at your own risk.

If you use iTunes to back your phone up, then after you upgrade just restore from backup in iTunes and your game saves will be restored.

Ok! And last question what about dlc? I have dlc for some games will those be restored as well and will cracked app game saves will be back up also? I only have to crack apps guitar hero tap tap I want to know if the songs will be saved or I will have to dl it again. Sorry for asking so many questions I just want everything back to the way it was nothing missing.

I do believe if you restore from back up they will be backed up.
