Help..

Ive got a iphone 3G, running 4.2.1
did an unlock using the ipad baseband and redsn0w & jb.
all was working great, till now.

im giving the phone to a mate, so decided to erase the data on it from the systems menu (thought it would be quicker that a custom restore)
the phone is now stuck on the boot screen.
is there any way to fix this? iTunes wont recognise the phone to do a restore.

Open iTunes put the phone on dfu mode and itunes should now recoginze the phone on dfu mode and you will be able to restore it... should work fine.

cheers, iTunes wouldn't restore 1st time, had to put into DFU using Pwnage for some reason before iTunes would restore.
all sorted now.

Pwned dfu mode is needed for custom firmwares that's why.

You need a valid sim to activate the phone, if you dont have the valid sim you should jailbreak it and will fix the problem.
