Question Should i get my iPhone 4 replaced?

Hi, I currently have an iphone 4 that was bought less than 6 months ago, it has not been dropped many times. It has good battery life and all and works perfectly but it has a bottom connector that looks strange. Ill post pictures. It also feels rough when connecting the wire to charge the phone. So I am wondering if I should change it for free because I have warranty. For it.

    Thanks guys!

Looks fine to me. It's your call, what baseband does it have?

I could not find the baseband info but I guess I'll change it after my exams are over. I'm wondering if anyone had broken dock connectors or frayed wires?

    Thanks you!

I haven't personally had that issue. For baseband it's in settings>general>about it'll say modem firmware near the bottom. That's your baseband.

I had frayed wires on my iPod naano once that's why I was worried. Baseband Is 04.10.01

It doesn't really matter for me as I don't do unlocking and stuff. Another question I have, to change the colour of the front and back of the iPhone 4 do you have to remove all the inside parts or will the cover come off by itself?

    Thanks again

I think go for it. I mean I'm thinking about switching mine out bc my home button is loose but I'm waiting it out to see if it gets worse. I have my phone set up the way I want so I don't want to but I'm concerned this might be a sign that my home button (this phone is less than 3 months old) may break soon.

So take advantage of your warranty and ask them to look at it. If it feels "rough" it might be damaging your connector whenever you plug it in and you don't want that to break.
