Download unpack cydia and nothing

3g 312, 512 "Download, unpack, Respringing" cydia and nothing shows up on screen. No logo. What might I be doing wrong. I used sn0w to unlock but cant get Cydia up and running.

Hold on what? You are on 3.1.2, used blackra1n, and used blacksn0w to unlock?

3G 3.1.2 IPSW 5.11.07 Blackrain and then sn0w It is unlocked but Cydia says "Downloading, unpacking, Respringing" and no Cydia logo shows up on screen. What might I be doing wrong. I used sn0w from within Blackrain to unlock but cant get Cydia up and running.

The cydia in blackrain doesn't work it's been noted many times. Stray is right restore and use redsnow I don't care for jailbreakme I don't like the lines on boot but either will be better than blackrain. 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 will be unlockable and your best choice for the 3G. You will need something to kick you out of the recovery/reboot loop (1015 error in itunes) I prefer ireb, but that's just me. There's a couple more like tiny umbrella. Once restored and jailbroke update everything in cydia first then install ultrasn0w from cydia and enjoy your unlocked 3G.

Appreciated. I will restore when I get board completed. I have to add 3 caps that were physically removed by previous owner due to an accident.

I hope this helps just 1 person. The pic of a component on (http://modmyi.com/forums/attachments...-board-002.jpg) turns out to be a cap not a choke as I was lead to believe. I switched cap from another board and have a good provider signal from 2 different providers.
