Default iPhone not eligible for build

    Hey guys,

So I tried updating my 4.3.2 iPhone 4 to 4.3.3 today but I keep getting a "your device is not eligible for this build" error. What the heck is going on? It's not even jailbroken and never has been considering Apple replaced it last week. How do I fix this?

I had similar problem when updating the iPad 4.3.2 -> 4.3.3. The following solution, found in the Apple Support Communities, worked for me.

    Edit your hosts file.

    Instructions:
How to edit the hosts file in Mac OS X – Leopard Decoding the Web

Remove the line containing: "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx gs.apple.com"

    Then try the update again.

    Hope this helps!

The xxx's, of course, representing some numbers
