Turning Off
I have a 3G which has a non functioning screen and a broken home button. How do I switch the phone off so I can replace the screen parts?
I have tried holding power button for 7 secs button mute rocker switch still vibrates when moved.

wait till the batteries dead?
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Honestly i really doesnt matter if the phone is off or not.
Its better for it to be off but it wont kill the phone if its not
