Had to restore my phone :-( help needed

Hi Guys

Last week i jailbroke my Iphone 4 with Redsnow, i have the latest update 4.3.2 and it was working fine up until the push notifications and youtube stopped working.

naturally i searched around for a solutuon and came accross the same answers - Push Doctor, Pushfix, and pushfix 2.0, also came accross the solution using a different AT&T Sim.

This is all great but the only problem is i have NOT HACKTIVATED my Iphone. all of these answers were for hacktivated iphones.

this was my first problem. second came the tempromental signal and 3G, i was jumping between no service and very limited service and a lot of the time the 3G would dissapear.

I have ended up restoring my phone and the signal and push notifications are now working again.

id really appreciate some help with this guys as im dyinf to re-jailbreak my phone, i just dont want these problems

You should be fine if you jailbreak using Redsnow or GreenPois0n without interrupting the update. I had a friend who this happened to because while the jailbreak process was taking place, they accidentally tripped up the USB and it disconnected. After several restores, the iPhone was back to normal so you should be good to go this time around now that its working. I prefer using Redsn0w to jailbreak over Green Pois0n

It sounds like your friend did something similar to me, when I jailbroke using redsn0w the jailbreak software on the pc told me that I hadn't done it right and to do it again.

However...the jailbreak on phone still went ahead.

Maybe this is why I had the problems???

for some reason me (and friends) have had nothing but problems with Green Pois0n. Snowbreeze and redsnow FTW!

Yeah same here, I've tried Green Pois0n a few times and always saw those people coming back to me with problems. Easy fix was to rejailbreak using Redsn0w and everything was fine. I haven't used Snowbreeze to jailbreak yet, for some reason, everytime I download a IPSW firmware file, snowbreeze does not recognize it when trying to build a custom for my iPhone 4. I've tried downloading the files from every source including the one snowbreeze gives you but still does not recognize file.

Hm was your extension .ipsw? Sometimes windows swets it as something else when you download it. If not i got no idea
