    Default Question about restore.

Hi. I jailbroke my phone, and thinking I was being smart I backed it up on iTunes before the jailbreak. Now my harddrive has decided to crap out on recently. I have 2 hard drives with operating systems on both. I can boot up the other hd and read the bad one that has my iTunes on it as if the hd was a folder. I'm hoping to put iTunes on second hd and transfer my restore file over so I can restore my phone to normal until I can fix the pc issues. Anyone know if this is possible?

I'm pretty sure a iTunes back-up is only the simple basic things like mail, contacts etc., hence why a back-up sync is so quick. If your trying to bring your apps over as well that's a different story.

You say you have OS's running on both HD's right? If you have an OS on the bad HD why can you only access a folder?
You'd have to run iTunes and retrieve all that but if you can't I guess you'd have to find the path to your back-up and as far as the apps go it should be in your Documents/Music/iTunes/iTunesMedia/Mobile Applications

Thanks for the help. The hd with iTunes on it will not boot up no matter what i do. No clue why it lets me in from the second one. The apps where the main thing I was concerned with. Pics, music and all else I have on both hd's. It's just the apps I'm after.
