3GS - Keep having to "boot tethered" via Redsnow after reset

In order to unlock on 4.2.1..i had to make the sacrifice to get the ipad baseband. Only problem now it that every time the phone reset or I shut it down, it gets stuck on the apple logo.

Only way I can get out of the logo is to run redsnow then select "just boot tethered" option to get the phone running again and out of the apple logo stuck mode. Is there any possible way I get the phone working normally after a simple reset/restart without having the phone stuck on the apple logo every time?

The older versions of redsn0w loaded the iPad BB. You need to re-jailbreak with the latest redsn0w (rc12) and 4.2.1. It will then be untethered at boot.

Can't say if you need to reload 4.2.1 before running redsn0w rc12, but I would. Always best to start fresh. Hope your SHSH blobs are saved.
