^Adding virtual memory, which is what 99% of speed-booster apps do (the other 1% do nothing ), to an iphone 4 is worthless. It's practically worthless on a dog-slow, 128MB 2G or 3G. Not worth the trouble. The additional full-time overhead associated with virtual memory isn't worth the minimal gain which might be occasionally perceived. Do what you want, waste your own time, but it's a dead-end street.

If it's not fast enough, it's because of something you've installed, and/or way too many of 'em. Insanely (and other cracked app sites) do not have a good reputation for highly tested and compatible apps and are the usual cause for a slow and/or sluggish iDevice.

No. It's the iOS and the installed apps, not the repo

A 3G on any 4.x iOS is sluggish. Anything you add will make it worse. For best 3G performance, stay on iOS 3.1.3

I enjoy it, also it's not just cracked apps, I don't condone or install them, it's just where what he was asking for was located
