SSH question

I downloaded an app from cydia that allows me to change the text on the slider bar. The app is called "Custom Slider" and in order to change the text i have to do this,

This is what it reads,

It is a custom slide to unlock and slide to power off theme for use with iPods and iPhones. When used on iPhones there is also a slide to answer custom. Text is editable just SSH the theme and find and edit the "springboard.strings file in a text editor.

Can anyone please help me understand what it is asking for?

After a few minutes of screwing with the phone I figured it out.

Does anyone know how to change the color of the font and the type of font for the slider bar?
