Been a while, so I got some noob questions
Go easy on me, guys.

Basically I've been with the iPhone since it launched, and then upgraded to the 3GS. Then I broke the screen and instead of just fixing it, I thought I'd get an Android phone. So I got the Evo 4G...and I absolutely HATE it. So I plan on getting a white iPhone tomorrow (assuming they do get released tomorrow).
I know it will probably have 4.2.7, but I don't mind waiting for an untethered jailbreak.
I do have some questions, though. I still visit MMi daily, but since I haven't had an iOS device in 6-ish months, I haven't really kept up with all the new stuff coming out. I remember having to SSH into the phone and manually change each SMS tone. Has anyone come out with an app that lets you change those without having to SSH into the phone and replace the stock sounds?
And....I had more questions today at work, but now that I'm home, I can't remember any of them...
I'm sure I'll think of them when I get the phone, so I'll just post this and most likely update it tomorrow night when I get home from work *hopefully* with a shiny new phone.
BAMF! Remembered another question lol.
I have a couple backups of my 3GS on my MacBook. Would I be able to set up my iPhone 4 with those? Would that even be a good idea? I really just want to get all my pics/videos from my 3GS onto my new phone, but if not, that's cool.Last edited by DarkoNova; 04-27-2011 at 01:19 AM.

Thanks.

Another question. I can't remember how to zoom in/out when using the camera. I might have been using a different camera app, but I know I had a slider bar that adjusted the zoom level. Is there a way to zoom with the stock app or do I need to get something else?
I know, I know. Serious noob question. Like I said, it's been a while.

you can zoom with stock app, its hidden. double tap near the bottom of the screen to bring up the slider. may take a couple tries.
