4.2.1 performance tips?
What are the tips to increase performance and battery life of 3g on 4.2.1? I found few tips for performance but most are the time of 4.0 release and I know a lot of things are already improved in final version. So what should be disable or change in 4.2.1 to increase performance.
Secondly I am looking for process killer so please name some good ones for ios 4, I also want to know does any virtual RAM hack really increase the performance and compatible with ios 4?

no homescreen wallpapers and no native multitasking would give you a massive speed boost

NoSpot (or MyOS paid) to disable Spotlite helps. SBSettings includes a process killer. IMHO the advantages out-weigh the performance/memory hit. Keep apps/tweaks that include a Mobile Substrate dylib to a bare minimum.
Stay away from VM. It's rarely beneficial to a flash-based limited memory 3G.

How? I am using backgrounder from cydia. Are there any good features of 4.3 (4g) which we can add in 4.2 (3g) with the help of thirdparty tools?
