right need some help regarding upgrading !

i am currently jailbroken on 4.2.1 and have everything set up perfect .
i have a load of apps installed that i do not want too loose as there not from itunes (i think you know what i mean )

is there anyway i can save all my apps and everything , sync with itunes to enable 4.3 update ,

then i could rejailbreak and install everything without the need to do it all individually again .
if not then i wont bother with the update ,

There are several ways of backing up those apps/settings.
On Cydia search for aptbackup (free). After backing up, make sure to sync with iTunes, as some files will be saved with that backup.
If you want more options and a more extensive backup, use pkgbackup ($7.99).
