screen resolution problem ??

all of a sudden my springboard doesnt fit my screen properly its as if its increased in size by 10% and the icons are slightly over lapping the side and bottom of the springboard and even in cydia i cant see the bottom command buttons (cydia-sections-changes-manages-search)as the page doesnt fit the screen. i dont know why or wat has caused this as i havent added any new apps to my fone for ages...help please

hard restart? Id give it a shot. (hold sleep/wake button and home while springboard is unlocked... Keep holding and it will reset)
