Preparing iPhone for restore stuck...

Hello guys, im trying to upgrade my i4 to latest 4.3.2 but when i want to restore it says Preparing iPhone for restore and it stucks there... for long time... any suggestions ?

I also have this problem. I attempted to restore my iphone 4 to 4.3.1 following my messages.app crashing each time I attempted to send a text. It got to the end of the restore, then I got an error message (unsure which one). Now its stuck on the connect to itunes screen, itunes recognises it as in recovery (or DFU as Iv tried both) but just sticks at the "preparing iphone for recovery bar" Tinyumbrella refuses to kick it out of recovery and wont fix recovery if in DFU. Im at my wits end. going to try a different computer with a different lead later, and also will try RecBoot as well so will keep you posted. I would be grateful for help on this matter though? any ideas?

I just found a way to make it work

download iReb and then follow this tutorial

i sorted mine too. fixrecovery from notcom (tinyumbrella) sorted it. brilliant!

Download from The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella

you may need to download a .dll file but just put it in the same directory as the unzipped file. any q's gimme a shout.

I already updated to 4.3.2 with sucess...now just waiting for JB.. sucks using it just as a phone

sure, just downgrade to 4.3.1 and jailbreak on that. Thats what I did. hope your SHSH blobs are saved?

Yeah, I have all my SHSH saved, but I will wait for jailbreak wont last long thought... tired of restoring.. haha, but thanks for advice mate.
