    Default Help with ssh

    Hello,
I'm trying to make my own theme for my iphone 4 on ios4.3.1 and i'm stuck becouse i cannot transfer files into the device, i can browse using iSpirit from ithemesky but can't change anything but create and delete folders.
I read about ssh but i'm not sure how it works and what i have to do and if it's safe to use it?
Can anyone give me some advice?
    Thanks to all.

Hey... sure, you will need to install OpenSSH from Cydia first. Then, reboot. I use DiskAid but you can use any FTP client. Cyberduck, Filezilla will do as well. Find out the IP address of your iPhone (make sure it is connected to the same network your computer is), and enter the IP into the HOST field on any of those FTP clients. Username will be root and password alpine.

P.S. Make sure to hcange your root password to something different. Use passwd command in terminal while connected to your iPhone via SSH.
