iPhone 4 worth to purchase now?

Hey, I am plannign on renewing my contract and with it i need to get a phone. I was looking at the HTC Desire Z or the Motorola Milestone 2 however looking at the price points. I think the iPhone 4 might actually be a better deal. However with all the hype and rumours about the iPhone 5, I'm not sure if it's a good choice to get it now. What do you guys think?

If you have to upgrade now then yes I'd choose it over an android anyday. If it was me I'd just hold off til the 5 is released.

Rumours (and bear in mind these are just rumours) say that the new version of the iPhone is due in September. Other sources state the production for the new iPhone has not even started so a release for this year is unlikely.
Anyway, whatever rumours you want to believe, it is very unlikely we will see a reiteration of the iPhone this summer as per usual, unless of course Apple decides to surprise us, unlike last year when the phone was leaked

I want to wait for the 5 but if it's not coming out this year. What the hell is the point of waiting.

It is coming out this year. Rumor has it that it will be delayed but I heard it isn't delayed for longer than the end of June.

Honestly, if it were me I would get the ip4. Skip the ip5. Bc ip6 is likely to be a major improvement compared to what rumors are saying about the ip5.
