    Default snowbreeze not recognizing firmware

    im trying to jailbreak a 3g firmware 3.1.2 and it says not a valid ipsw...

    i have downloaded from two different sites

    what is the file extension? make sure it is ipsw, some browsers will change the extension when downloading. Also, what program are you using?

    well i was using snowbreeze but since that didnt work i used blackrain and it worked but now when i put my sim card in its like i have no signal

    no signal, or it doesn't recognize the carrier?
    are you using an unlocked iphone, or does it need to be unlocked to work?
