Stuck with "searching"

Hi,

On my iPhone 2G (3.1.3) I wanted to install some kind of MMS activation hack, I found "2G MMS Activation (3.1.2)" in Cydia and decided to give it a go.

Since then (after rebooting) I do not get an carrier signal. It's showing "searching" at all times, even without any sim card inside.

I uninstalled the package, but that didn't fix the problem.

My question: Does anyone know which files I can mess with to get my iPhone working again? I would really like to avoid restoring.

(reseting all settings didn't help either)

EDIT: Is MMS possible on 2g running 3.1.3??? this fixed it
