SHSH Blobs using TinyUmbrella/Cydia
I have a question for the masses. I used TinyUmbrella on my newly purchased i4 about a week ago tomorrow. It indicated that my blobs were saved and not to bother the person's email with questions regarding if it was saved or not (I do not remember the name of the person, but not really my question). So, when I open Cydia it states "This device is in the pending TSS queue". My question is how long does it take to show up in Cydia that my blobs were saved? When I JB my 2G, 3GS, and iPad (especially the 3GS) Cydia was offering the "Make life easier" option and if memory serves me correctly, it did not take that long to display.
Also, how do I know if and where my blobs are saved on my computer? Last question, is it possible for me to save the blobs either on Cydia or my computer now that 4.3.2 is out?"Once is an accident, Twice is a trend, Three times is evidence."

Well , when u connect your device to tiny umbrella it should state that it is saved, I would just leave the program open to maybe send it to cydia (idk) but if it's pending you should be ok. I think the new tiny umbrella saves it to your pc automatically

Thanks man, but where on my computer are they saved?
I have been reading other post here on MMi and I am guessing that with the rumors of 4.3.2 dropping that lots of people have been sending their blobs to Cydia and this might cause a delay in seeing my blobs offically in the Cydia app when i first open it.
Either way, I think I'm good but I just wanted to be sure.
EDIT: Oh, and you are correct. When I connect my device to TinyUmbrella, it does say that blobs for 4.3.1 are saved for my device. I guess I just wanted to see it listed within the Cydia app to put my mind totally at ease.Last edited by ninthchamber99; 04-15-2011 at 07:19 AM.

Cydia can take up to a couple days to get your SHSH's on file. Think of how many people use TU lol your probably in a line up.

Its all good!! The funny thing is now I just read that an untethered JB for 4.3.2 has been released or updated from 4.3.1 since the exploit is the same. So I, like many others, freaked out for nothing since the latest FW is now untethered. This is a great time for our community!!

if you are using widows 7 the shsh are saved on Start > user name > shsh
If tiny says they are saved they are saved with Cydia just because the do not show on Cydia when you load it on your phone does not mean they are not saved. my 4.2.1 took like 3 weeks to show up but i know it was there as i restored through tiny to 4.2.1 so no need to worry and they are on your pc anyway
