iFile 1.50-4, after updates still stuck on the SPINNING WHEEL

anyways i closed ifile 1.50-3 in the mobile/applications folder, and when i opened it the wheel was spinning. while the wheel was spinning, a "this ifile is shareware" etc message popped up, but i couldnt close it until the applications folder finished loading. when it did finish loading and i closed the popup, the dark transparent overlay over the whole screen and the spinning wheel is still there and it doesnt go away however long i wait. no functionality other than the home button while the wheel is there of course.

Then the 1.50-4 update came out, i read the changelog and was like phew but when i installed and reopened the issue was still there.

the usual spinning wheel issue happens when you resume ifile in a folder that doesnt exist anymore, but i think my case is a little different. im guessing it has to do with how long it takes to load the applications folder(i have a lot of apps) and the delay between startup and the shareware msg popping up.

any suggestions what i should do? should i contact the dev
