iPhone music without iTunes or copytrans 2011

Just confirming with the community that it is still beyond humanity's skill to successfully copy songs to an iphone for playing without using commercial software. (I don't care if copytrans is free, it's still a commercial for other software and therefor commercial.)

I find it hard to believe this is the case, but I cynically expect it to be so and yet optimistically hope I'm simply ignorant of a known solution.

If it hasn't been done, can someone with an understanding of these things explain why? I'm just curious. You'd think sharepod or ifunbox at least would support this kind of thing by now.

Am I really the only person on the planet that just wants to copy songs to my device and play them without having to be all anal with playlists like some autistic with a baseball card collection sorting by batting average?

Can I use it to download from my computer? Or is it just someone else trying to be a software millionaire by selling what should be free?

Well...it let's u download music right on ur device....so there won't be a need of iTunes or copytrans....u download the song on your iPhone and press sync on your iPhone...no pc required....it's free to download and use but they give you 10 syncs then it's 9.99...but if u can't fork over 9.99, then u can download all the songs u want and use iFile to play them

get pwntunes from cydia (think it may be a like $2 or something..) and that will then allow you to connect and sync to any computer without the need for itunes and you can just add files to it from where ever it is..

Or that , but since it usually has more problems then mewseek I didnt mention that one....pwntunes usually has problems with the folder appearing in windows as I seen on all the threads to it
