Cydia does not load

Hey all, I am having problem with my cydia. After updating to 1.1 cydia, when I load up cydia, it will just stay frozen on the boot up screen. I already tried exiting it out thru the multitask tab. Any solution to fix this?

Do you have iFile? if not, re-jailbreak your phone.

If you do have iFile, follow the steps below:
Open iFile.

Navigate to /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d

Delete the file "cydia.list" (click EDIT on the top right, select the file, and click the waste basket).

Navigate to /var/lib/apt/lists

Delete all of the files in this folder except the one called "lock"

Navigate to /var/lib/apt/lists/partial

Delete all of the files in this folder

Navigate to /var/lib/cydia

Delete the file "metadata.plist"

Close iFile and restart Cydia. You should be at the first screen you saw when you first started Cydia: What kind of user are you? Make your selection and Cydia will re-generate the default sources.

I tried your 2nd option. I did exactly what you mention and cydia still acting up. It fixes the frozen part and it does pop up "what kind of user you are". But now it just ask me and crashes.
