Need some advice on iPhone 3G

My wife has a iPhone 3G, I'm not sure what I jailbroke it with, it was Spirit or jailbreakme.com. Anyways, her phone is always giving her problems, springboard will crash randomly, slow as ****, hangs up, just a general pain in the ***. No winterboard, no themes, hardly anything on the phone except pics. The only things I can think of installed thru Cydia is, lockinfo, MyWi, and sbsettings. How can I get this phone to stop acting up, she really needs the Mywi, I'm not really sure what route to take. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing i can think of is either uninstall everything and reinstall them or restore the phone and then reinstall them. Restore back to 3.1.3 tho
