Smashed iphone 4

Hi dropped my iphone 4 and smashed the screen. The touch screen still works fine and i can see all of the screen its just cracked. Do i need the full replacement screen or just a new digitizer? TIA

Iv gone and bought the digitizer seperate off ebay the listing said i could use it if my lcd works. Turns out there stuck together so he was bullshitting basically. If i buy an lcd screen seperate can i just put them together?

DOnt recommend it if it even works they are fused/glued for a reason. You will get so much dust and everything else in between them it will be a constant problem return the digi and buy the whole set up if you look hard enough you can get it for under 60 bucks

Whats the point in them selling it seperate then just to scam people?

The listing said "If you have a cracked / broken glass but your LCD still displays normally, and your touch screen function may or may not be working properly, then this is the correct replacement part"

I hate placing the Digitizer, I just buy both of them together. Waste of my time.
