    Default JB and Apps

I wasn't sure what the best place for this was: Mods, if this needs to be moved, feel free.

    Thank You in advance.

I have an iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.1, GP JB RC 5 (untethered.)

What I really need to know is: How can I remove all traces of non-stock Apps from my iPhone?

I have iFunBox, and complete access to the file-tree.

I ended up with the dreaded GameCenter "sandbox" issue, and tried a suggested method of fixing it. The method may have worked, but in the process, the Phone no longer sees all the apps as installed...

All non-stock icons disappeared, but the space was still used, so I manually deleted the apps from: User -> Applications. This recovered only about half the space back, but did allow me to re-install the Apps.

I can't do a restore, as iTunes wants me to update to 4.3. I do not want a tethered JB, if it wasn't my phone I wouldn't care. I can't lose an hour or more to re-setting up my phone if something crashes.

So until a 4.3 untethered JB is released (Mac or Win, doesn't matter as I have both) I need to restore, without restoring. Any ways to do this?

Do you not have 4.2.1 SHSH?

No... Cydia doesn't have the option anymore. I forgot to use Tiny before Apple stopped signing 4.2.1.

So I need an alternate way to clear the data on the phone, so I can start quasi-fresh.

    Yeah, no luck.

I even made a backup of the file I edited. Saved it on my computer before I modified it, just in case, but when I put the original back, the system/apps were still broke.
