    Default No Backup Option

    My iTunes doesn't have a backup option when a device is connected.

    You can look at the screenshot, thats all it shows.

    i had this problem as well, open terminal and type

    defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool false

    defaults write com.apple.iTunes AutomaticDeviceBackupsDisabled -bool false

    this wont work if you're on a pc
