Hey Apple Warranty Question

So i have an iphone 4 and it's still in warranty i noticed some of the pins in my dock connector are bent because of the cable that went in....... everything still works it's just somehting small that bugs me do you think apple will replace/repair this issue for me?

i don't think so unless its not working, but i could be wrong. But in my own experience with appple...its not worth it for that. Apple has great customer service but those apple stores can get busy and sometimes appt's are hard to come by.

I guess but if anything does happen do you think that is covered?

I think it depends on the rep you get. Some people get rejected for water damaged devices but I've seen some get it replaced, even though water damage isn't supposed to be covered.

So even if it isn't normally covered, I think it comes down to who you get.

Ya that sounds ok but I think since it's their own cable that did it. It should be ok

problem with that is the pins are bent, so the problem could have easily been caused by yanking the cord out or forcing it in the wrong way. For that reason, i don't think it's covered. the warranty insurance covers defects, not injuries

but what i'm saying is you could have ripped it out, or swung it around, or whatever. i'm not saying you did that lol, but to them, they don't know so........

i'm not trying to bum you out or nothing, by all means take it down there and i could be wrong, i'm just letting you know, i've been turned away for even pettier ****
