    Default Switches off on lock

I've had my phone for about 2 weeks now and i insta-jailbroke it. I've noticed that in certain locations my phone powers itself down when it is locked or auto-locked and it takes about a minute or so to power back up. At first i thought it was problems with the carrier switching to Orange from T-Mobile so i disabled that and no luck. Also, when its powered itself down, the battery is drained excessively even though it is switched off. Its strange that it only happens when i go to certain places, at home it works fine but if i walk half a mile away it will power down.

What would be the best way about fixing this? should I unjailbreak it and take it back or can Apple tell even if its restored?

If anyone knows a fix that would be even better thanks

Restore first and see if before jailbreaking it still has the issues or the battery drain. If so then it's a defect

Will do. Looking around on other forums, people with the same problem have restored with no luck but theres no harm trying.

If anyone wants a temp fix on this, put music on but mute the volume. Keeps the phone alive and doesnt drain the battery as much.

    Double Post-

Still no luck after a restore and update to 4.3. Will take it into the shop and see what they say.
