    Default Need help please!!!!

Ok so i backed up my iphone before before i upgraded to 4.2.1 by restoring. After i restored, i could not find the backup anywhere! I looked all through iTunes to backup but found none. I went inside the backup folder of iTunes and i found the folder of the backup though. I really need this backup because it has many contacts from work and business contacts. ANY way to restore this? I have $10 for the first person to fix this. I can do teamviewer also.

If it's not there you screwed up somewhere I guess?

    Open a Finder Window.

Start by clicking on the icon under "Places" that is a little house and the name of it is your name. (That's why it's called "Home", I guess) It's probably right below the Desktop icon.

In the "house" folder named after you, there should be a folder called "Library"
In the Library folder, there should be a folder called "Application Support"
In the Application Support folder, there should be a folder called "MobileSync"
And in the MobileSync folder, there should be a folder called "Backup"

The backup folder will have a long, funny name that's a combination of letters and numbers.

    Hope that helps.

Inside that folder are all the backups of your iPhone with extensions of .mddata and mdinfo.

Yes but one of those backup folders is not showing in iTunes. I'm not sure why. The folder is there but it's not showing up. Is there any way to extract the contacts at least from the backup? It's all I need.

Thanks. I foud out the backup was outta wack. It has a status.plist and a folder named snapshot inside. I guess it was a bad backup. Weird that it was almost 1 GB though. If anyone knows how to fix it would be great thanks!
