adding folders to mailbox (hotmail)

I think that you would need to do that on a browser and make the folder while signed in at http://www.hotmail.com

iGoof is correct-- at least that's the case with Gmail.
I should point out that the folder contents won't download unless you go into the actual folder on your phone.Quaerite et invenietis.

i thinks it's gotta do with the fact hotmail is pop and wont update folders... but i dont realy care, there must be a way to create a dummy folder with ifile so that i can have spare folders to store emails that comme on my iphone?

Gmail is IMAP, and that's still the case for me.

i know im not looking for imap email capable im looking to make a folder on the iphone that i can myself drag the email and store it there... i dont care if it doesnt update on hotmail itself

On the iPhone itself, some email servers allow it and some require to do it on the computer. I'm not sure which though, I always create them on my computer anyway.

imap will pop wont, hotmail is pop...
in var/mobile/library/mail/pop-*pop3.live.com there is deleted messages.mbox, inbox.mbox and sent messaages.mbox... i added a folder.mbox but it wont appear when i open my mailbox, anyone know how to make it appear?
