Default So my jailbreak has been destroyed...

I let a friend use my phone In attempt to install a cydia app (aircrack) and one of the steps was to set permissions to 777. When he did this, he screwed something up. Now I can't download or delete from cydia without getting an error message.

I was just simply going to plug it into the computer, restore, and rejailbreal. But I just realized 4.3 came out...and did enough research to note that I can't jailbreak it reliably.

So, if I update to 4.3, will I be able to go back down to 4.2.1? My SHSH blobs are saved on cydia and tinyumbrella, so I am thinking I can go back down without a problem.

    Am I correct?
    iPhone 4, running 4.2.1, jailbroken with greenpois0n rc5.

Aircrack as in that WEP cracking app?

Thats a hoax dude. I spent 7 hours online one day researching it. All the articles that come up are like always newly posted youtube 'tutorials' with links to trojans n'stuff.

I think apple is still signing 4.2.1 so you might be able to just do a Shift+restore to stock 4.2.1 and then use greenpois0n rc6 to jailbreak. I shift+restored to stock 4.1 on a 3GS earlier today, got error 1015 and exited recovery with tinyumbrella.

iPhone is still signing 4.2.1. I just upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2.1 yesterday as there is no Good JB for 4.3 yet. Do it fast before they stop signing the 4.2.1 firmware though!
