Gray Mail Icon

My iphone has an extra gray 'envelope' icon (I drew a red box around it) next to the battery. I understand SOME app is trying to tell me something, but I can't figure out which app. I've cleared every notification I can find, and disabled each add-on to try to remove the icon. Notably, the icon goes away when I open Cydia.

my guess is because you have mail, and you have notified installed it's warning you with its own status symbol.

try deleting the mail and see if it goes
if it does then my theory is correct in which case, go to settings and turn off the >notified Status bar icon for mail

Actually it does it whether I have new mail or not. I just made sure I had new mail for the screen cap so the two icons weren't confused.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
