Trying to figure out what's wrong with my phone. (booting issue?)
This morning something unexpected happened to my phone, that's never happened before.
I usually charge it every night in the wall next to my bed before I sleep, and my phone wakes me up in the morning with its built in (Apple) alarm (I do have a "wake up to song" cydia app that wakes me up to a tune in my iPod library). Except this morning I woke up late because my phone was completely shut off. I was able to power on the phone, but the only thing that showed up was my wallpaper, and lock slider which was frozen, so I couldn't unlock the phone.
I pressed and held the power and home button, and the device shut off, then I powered it on again. Still same thing. So I plugged it into iTunes, it shows up, syncs, but the iPhone doesn't say that it's syncing on the home-screen, however when it's plugged in the battery wallpaper shows up. Anyway, the iPhone started to reboot itself at this point after it was plugged into a power supply, and eventually after about 10 auto-reboots from the phone itself, everything came up and my iPhone was usable.
I'm just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem or if it's my alarm clock that's crashing the phone and causing it to work incorrectly (I don't see why, but it's the only thing I can think of, since my phone was working at 2:15am, and my alarm was set for 6am but never went off).
I do have quite a bit of stuff installed from Cydia but nothing that seems as if it would cause this, and it hasn't done this EVER! I'm gonna toy with my alarm clock app and see what happens these next few days, but any feedback would be appreciated. I really wouldn't want to have to restore it and reinstall all my jail broken stuff, for a user like myself it kinda took me a while to get to the point I'm at.
