Default Problem with Cydia, tried everything!

    iPhone 4, 4.2.1

Hoping someone can help since I've looked all over the internets and come up short. For the past 3 days whenever I try to install, upgrade, or uninstall a package it doesn't work. I press the button but nothing happens. The button "presses", meaning it changes color, but it becomes unshaded and stays on the current page. I've checked my lists for bad sources, deleted all files except for the "partial" folder in that one location and refreshed my sources, did "apt- get update" in mobileterminal, rebooted, nothing!

Any idea how to fix this? I'm no n00b and completely comfortable doing whatever needs to be done (other than restoring!) via SSH or whatever.

    Thanks guys!

    No there isn't.

Funny you should mention that. Once I select to install, uninstall, whatever, and the button does nothing, it does put the install/uninstall in queue, but I cannot run the queue.

So basically you're saying when you hit the button for install/uninstall or whatever, it just doesn't move anywhere/go to another screen?

Did this just start happening out of nowhere or did install anything recently?

I have had this prolem several times as of lately.

How ever I could purchase using the Purchase Pachage bar.

It usually fixes its self after a while.

I think it happens when they are working on the Cydia Server.

They need to take Cydia off line or gives some notice when they do this.

That is correct. I press "install" or "uninstall" and the button becomes shaded as if it was pressed and then it just reverts back to it's original color when I let go. Now if I go into a package that I've already installed it will let me select "modify" and I can chose "reinstall/remove/cancel" but when I press those buttons nothing happens as well. It seems that it puts my actions into queue but then I cannot access the queue to run it.

I have not installed anything in quite some time. It just started happening!

I hadn't tried but I can get the purchase package (yellow) button to work also but not the blue one in the upper right.

Its been closer to 4 days with no change. When did yours "fix" itself? Did you do anything?

Nothing unusual other than turn on and off a time or two but not for the Cydia problem

What I meant is that I did nothing to fix the problem.
I did turn off the iPhone a time or two during the time I was having the problem to see if a reboot would fix the problem which it did not.
    Later the problem was gone.
This has happend four times in the last month.
