Help!!!

Hello,
I have an iphone4 running 4.1 with FW 02.10.04 jailbroken and I have a couple problems. It runs fine when I'm at home but once I get to work my phone is really lagging (it would takes 5 secs to open an app). And I've been thinking about restore my phone back to the original but I don't really want to get update to 4.2 when I click on the restore on itune, it says "restore and update". And also I've heard something about you can't unlocked with 4.2? so my questions are what should I do? should I restore and update it? or is there any way to get my phone to run faster? or not lagging anymore?

You cant unlock with the firmware you have right now either. Do you need to unlock or are you on official carrier?

No I don't need to unlock I have AT&T right now all I need is I want my phone not to lag it's getting annoying sometimes that it would takes 5 secs to open an app, even sms, phone, ect....

I would suggest restore to 4.2.1 then. If possible set it up as new (sync your contacts/photos etc to itunes first so you can sync them back). If you want to jailbreak after use greenpoison rc6.1

I've been trying to restore and update as you're telling me but my itune kept giving me a message says "connection is timed out" and my internet is working fine....and one more thing where do I get greenpoison rc6.1?
