About to buy a new Iphone 4, any advice?

So I am about to purchase a new Iphone 4. I want to use it with my Tmobile service and read up on how to cut the SIM card into a Micro one. Im going to get one from eBay. Anyone have advice or headsup on which Baseband or versions to avoid. Thanks

Baseband 2.10 and 3.10 should be avoided.

has anyone bought from a seller and was able to jailbreak/unlock and use with tmobile? if they were successful can u refer me to the seller?

I got my iPhone 4 off ebay a few weeks ago. Be careful, a lot of sellers say their iPhone is unlocked when in fact the are on an non-unlockable baseband as of right now anyway (2.10 & 3.10)

Best thing to do is contact the seller and ask directly what the bb is on the phone. I contacted 6 sellers claiming to be selling an unlocked/JB phone that was not factory unlocked... only one came back with the 1.59 bb (which i purchased)..

That's my advise. But if your willing to buy an iPhone 4 with a newer bb I hear its not long until the new ultrasn0w is available for 2.10 & 3.10.
