you can go on Cydia and download "pwnimate" then just download boot logos and change in settings.

I've created my own, and would like to use it. I've read something about NOR flashing?

I have never heard of pwnimate. Normally I would just say use greenpoison on it but that doesnt work with iPhone 3G. You are on the right track with flashing the NOR, I haven't done boot logos on iPhone 3G in quite some time though so a little unsure.
I believe you can use redsnow 0.9.6rc8 and choose the bootlogo option to change it.Last edited by Simon; 02-28-2011 at 02:14 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Just had to remove that repo you posted to since it is a known warez repo.
