Default Updated iTunes and now wont sync

I updated iTunes to 10.1.2.17 a couple days ago, and now I keep getting this error when I try to sync:

"iTunes was unable to load data class information from sync services"

I've tried disable and re-enabling the Apple Mobile Device service, no luck. I also tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling, also to no avail. Oh, and I'm running 4.2.1 on an iPhone 4 with the untethered greenpois0n RC5 B2 jailbreak if that helps at all.

Does anyone have the slightest clue on how to fix this issue?

You're signed into your account and authorized the computer?

Yes to both, I double checked and tried again. It freezes on "Starting sync" and about 5 minutes later I get the error I mentioned. Nothing has changed, sadly.

It does seem like your computer than. Must not be running a certain program necessary. Let me research a little.

I remember I had a problem where my iPhone 4 wouldn't show up and iTunes told me one of my services wasn't running. Can't remember which, but I had disabled it for startup on accident. So I re-enabled it. Then I had to go into services on my computer and run it from there. Perhaps you should check your startup services to see if all your Apple programs are enabled.

Oh I don't doubt that it is my computer. My iphone is showing up just fine (obviously), but I haven't mucked with any startup programs or anything, so I wouldn't even know where to start looking for something that got disabled.

I'm going to go into task manager and force disable all apple services, restart, and see what happens, but let me know if you have any other ideas to try. I hate not being able to back up my phone >_<

I would imagine the service is disabled in your comp or missing. If disabled, task manager likely won't show it as it isn't running. Are you on Windows 7 or vista or xp?

Yeah, it was the only thing I could think of that I hadn't tried yet. But your right, if it is missing or disabled, task manager wouldn't have it. I did notice there was about 7 instances of AppleMobileDeviceService.exe, but even after closing them and only having one running it made no noticeable change.

As for my OS, I'm running Windows 7.
