Default Question about SSH, wifi and missing phone.

I lost my phone the other day. I actually started a post then wondering if there was a way turn my ringer on remotely so I could find it. Apparently there wasn't.
Doesn't matter now, I'm sure the battery is dead by now. It turns out it might have been stolen by a visitor. The only reason I have to believe it wasn't stolen is that I could SSH into it from my computer and when the wifi on my phone goes to sleep The wireless light on my router goes out. Soooo then I call my phone and a few seconds later the wireless light comes back on. With those facts I have strong reason the phone was within range to be picked up by my wifi. Am I correct?

If you can still SSH into it then it is on your network.

Thought so, very frustrating because I've literally tore my house apart and I still can't find it

BTW, wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago you were celebrating your 10,000 post?
