Iphone 3g always on silent, need help.

Hi guys,

My iphone 3g jailbroken (OS 4.0) started acting weird since past few hours. Its now always on silent, and does not ring when i recieve a call, message or email. It only vibrates. I turned the silent switch on/off, but its still the same. Ive done a hard reset, restarted and resprung the phone several times. Also at times when i'm at home screen the volume icon appears and shows the volume bar going down even without doing anything. Im not sure what is the problem, does anyone have an idea what is causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My speaker works but it doesnt ring when i get calls, sms etc... i can t fix it

Same here. It was working a while ago and then all of a sudden.

you can get sb toggle app this will over ride your silant switch just look in cydia sb settings

It was a hardware problem i guess..thx i pimping for ur help...and to all those who didnt help, being such a big forum with many members, im sure there are people who had this issue/suggest some help, but no. I am tottaly dissapointed!!
