Default Can I turn my phone ringer on through ssh?

I lost my iphone 3G, I know it's some where close because my router is picking it up and I can SSH into it. The problem is other than my 3 year old.. it could also be in my garage which is a mess. The ringer and vibrate is off. Therefore, I cannot find it through the ringer. Can I instruct it to make a noise or turn ringer on through SSH?

You could try to VNC into it if you have Veency installed, or if you have another iDevice you could try using Find My iPhone from the app store.

Aw dang, I thought I might have had a solution, but SSHing into the device and using the "Play" command on a random .mp3 file I had lying around only worked when the ringer was on. Flipping the silent switch muted it.

EDIT: I'm... SO CLOSE... I can't find a way to toggle an SBSettings toggle via a .plist file or anything, which is a shame since there's a free working toggle that would accomplish this. I'm trying to find a way to use Activator to do it.

If you SSH into it, use "dpkg" to install com.openhebrew.ringertoggle, and find a way to modify the /var/Mobile/Library/Caches/libactivator.plist file to make it toggle that upon shaking the device, then respring, and shake the garbage can enough to cause the toggle to be set, it could work.

That said, you'd probably just be better off sifting through the garbage manually. Would take less time than figuring out how to edit the .plist file manually, or finding a better way to do it.
