Default Partial GPS Problem - plz help

I am new to this group and have come to get a solution from the bright minds here.

    I have a iphone 3gs ver 4.2.1., firmware 6.15.00

this is a usa - jailbroken and unlocked phone. I have installed a couple of cydia packages now n then when i needed. Everything wifi etc works fine.

I have installed a few gps packages which seem to work ok. It starts fine. detects my location. finds the destination. but does not move. When i hv moved a few meters, it goes to another location - so basically it does not trace the path. the speed is continuosly at 0km/ph

The arrow / car / object whch symbolizes the CAR stands still. But every once a while it just randomly picks location and speaks up.

I am sure gps is working fine but there could be something else which could be creating a problem . . but am not sure whats happenin here

    can you please help me!!!!!

    cheers

Since you have the 6.15.00 iPad Baseband Install, GPS is disabled. There is currently no fix for this yet.

my gps seems to be working bcuz i am able to get my current location. this also works with data off and no wifi. Also the gps seems to be intermittent - it picks of on and off. but the Car/object stays in one position. It doesnt move.

Also the speed is shown as okm/hr.

So I am thinking that the gps might be working. Is their any cydia fix's i could go for?

Unfortunately, this is a known problem with baseband 06.15 and is posted on the Dev-Team's Blog here.

People who upgraded to the 6.15 iPad baseband (Jailbreak Monte) to unlock their iPhone 3G/3GS in most cases have noticed that their GPS has stopped working. This is a known issue with UltraSn0w 1.2 and the 6.15 baseband. While the developers have not released a fix at this time, they have noted that they are aware. There are no fixes in Cydia for this. You will probably have to wait for iOS 4.3 to be released. The Dev-Team has stated that they will release their new unlock when iOS 4.3 is released.

    Update 1:
I just remembered a few tweets by MuscleNerd (Dev-Team) that gives hope to your situation. Click on the picture to see full size.

So it looks like they are working on two things: 1)Downgrading the 06.15 iPad baseband and 2) new unlock for iOS 4.3.
