Optimize Signal strength on iPhone 3G S
So I bought a package of those signal strength boosters, you know these things?

Where might be the best place to put it on my iPhone? Provided it works of course.

100 % snake oil.
there are some bridges in Brooklyn i can sell you.
if you missed my subtle hints, you got scammed. they don't work.
if you want a better signal, either
-buy a better phone ( not likely as we all love the iphone )
-change providers
-move next to a cellular tower.
don't feel bad, this thing pops up every so often. it's like instant weight loss pills. they prey on the uninformed and desperate.
a quick Google search gives me:

Overall there is no conclusive way to prove that these cell phone signal boosters work but common sense and available evidence suggests that there are too many other conditions affecting a cell phone's operating abilities and environment to conclusively say that cell phone signal boosters actually work. Save your money and find a cell phone provider that works well most of the time and offers high quality phones that will work in many places and under many conditions.Last edited by Madman604x; 02-22-2011 at 06:39 PM.
60% of the time, it works every time.

Way to make a guy feel stupid... jerk. It was only a $1 so I didn't care if they were fake or not. I'm not gonna go and explore the scams of the internet because I'm not an idiot.

Sorry not my intent to be a douche, I just speak this way. Like I said it's good you bring this item up so other people don't fall for it. :
Just think, these stores sell thousands of theses things to curious people. "maybe it really works? It's only $1" lotta people get conned. Small scam, high turnover and profit.
No one complains cuz "it's just a buck" like most of the items in the App Store60% of the time, it works every time.
