Hi:

I have a 3G running 4.2 (without multitasking enabled)--jailbroken with PwnageTool.

My iPhone crashes sometimes due to Low Memory (can see from the Crash Report). I can avoid this by frequently freeing up memory using SBSettings. But I wonder if SBSettings is the culprit in the first place. Don't have many other Jailbreak apps except for activator (which I understand SBSettings needs).

As for regular iphone apps, doesn't see to be any particular app that causes it--if I run 2 or 3 apps in a row I have to free up memory or I risk a crash.

My questions:
1. There are apps that tell me what processes are running, but I can't find an app that tells me how much memory each process is taking up. Is there such an app?
2. Is there a good chance SBSettings could be causing the problem? I'd hate to uninstall it but if I have to I will and use some other app to free up memory (if required).

Thanks for any help on this? I'm starting to dislike the pineapple...:-(
