Apple Terms and conditions, Will it UNDO my Jailbreak?
Hi All,
I Jailbroke my phone about 5 months ago, My phone says it has Version 3.1.3: Modem firmware 05.12.01.
I can't install any apps from the 'Apple Istore' UNLESS I accept the new 'Terms and conditions'
IF I do accept these new terms and conditions will that UNDO my Jailbreak, and will it automatically install Apple's NEW Firmware.
I'd like a definitive YES or NO on this matter, Preferably by a senior member, That's NOT to say ALL you 'Wizards' don't have the answer, BUT I really don't want to bugger up my phone and have to pay another £25.00.
Thanks

NO it will not remove your jailbreak and it will not update your phone. You are only agreeing to the new legalize of the app store

Hi,And Thak you for that MOST useful information, However here's another one, Maybe you can answer this one,
I recently bought Via iTunes --7.0 MPX camera, It worked OK UNTIL apple advised me that I need a NEW version of the iPhone OS, I think this is 10.1.2: OR my 7MPX Camera app will NOT work.
IF I install this new OS, Will it undo my Jailbreak?
IF it does not then I'll install it, I have read that it is not a very good OS.
Your comments and advice would be most welcome.
Regards and Respect

seems stranage that it worked and not does not. is that the case, it is not working now?
if you update to the latest OS (4.2.1) your phone will loose its jailbreak. you can jailbreak it using the instructions here
http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-news...s-4-2-1-a.html
unless you really need it, i would not update (i haven't because i don't see any advantage to me).
if you need to unlock, then do a little more research as to how to preserve your baseband.

Thanks
Thanks for that,
Yes it worked fine before, I spoke to Apple about this and after many emails they advised that for the 7.0 MPX Camera app to work I NEED to update my OS the the latest version.
And they will not refund the cost of the app as I said I didn'nt want to upgrade ( Buggers)
