Restore help

Hi all my iphone4 4.2.1 is jailbroken with green poison for windows. I put it in restore mode while connecting it to iTunes click restore after downloading it comes up saying (err = 3259) and doesn't restore iPhone can someone please help me get it back to factory settings?

Ok listen, I had the same issue when trying to update my phone to go to 4.2.1 so I can jailbreak with greenpois0n. I had to go to win32 file and delete something. I'll get the info and post. Just hold tight. If you've already fixed let me know before I go through the trouble of all the steps.

Hi no not sorted it my iPhone now dont work and stays on the greenpoison logo and doent load need it sorted as now feeling lost without it lol

Ok can you put the phone in DFU mode so you can restore? I'll get the info so you know what files to delete that are preventing the program to finish restoring. It's a simple code within system folder of win32 folder. Just hold tight.

Try downgrading to 4.1(if you have shsh blobs saved) stock firmware then upgrade to a fresh 4.2.1 then jailbreak with gp. Worked for me when I got stuck. Or you can edit the host file, which is what ^ checking up on.

ya i can get it to come up with the itune connect logo on the screen and thats about it lol

how do i downgrade???
