Wish list features for iPhone

I have had to compare my iPhone 4 to many other smart phones that I have owned and FF currently own. The shortcomings pop into my mind but there are so many we should start a log. Anyone want to add here:


Different signature for each email account.

Custom text sounds

Easy tethering

Faster loading camera (seen the droid?)

Better camera quality no matter the Meg

Blacklist for unwanted callers

Faster speed

Turn by turn directions (droid)

2 speakers - better sound

Custom text sounds - I believe biteSMS does this.

Easy tethering - It doesn't get much easier than MyWi, whether you want USB tethering or hotspot.

Turn by turn directions - There's navigation apps available on the App Store if it bugs you that much. There's also rumors that Apple might implement a turn by turn navigation.


I mean, there's always going to be at least something more you can add to a phone to make it even better. No phone is perfect. As for the phone performance rates, you're comparing an 8 old month phone. 8 months in the technology realm is like a lifetime. The new iPhone is due to come out soon and along with it will come a faster processor and more RAM.

I was trying to keep the wish list jailbreak free. The battle between us JB and apple is getting old. Others get these features out the box and one thing JB has taught us is the equipment is capable but apple won't release the software.
